General Terms and Conditions
A CREDIT CARD INDENT IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF CHECK-IN TO ACT AS A PRE-AUTHORISATION TO COVER ANY DAMAGE OR ADDITIONAL CHARGES. NZD$50 will be taken from guests credit card on arrival. This bond, if not used, is released the day of check out. Due to some bank’s processing times, it may take 5-10 working days for this hold to be released by local banks and 10-20 working days for offshore banks. Alternatively, a $500 cash bond can be paid at check-in which will be released on check-out (excluding any incidentals or damage charges, if applicable). Excluding Direct Bookings, credit card payments whether pre-paid, paid at time of Check- in or Check-out will incur an additional 2% service fee. All guests are requested to pay their account in advance or on check in. Guests who have approved Account Facilities are exempt providing their agreed Terms and Conditions are met in full.
General Cancellation Policy
The general cancellation policy will only apply when indicated. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the date of arrival for all cancellations or amendments to accommodation reservations. Failure to provide the specified notice will result in you being charged a one nights accommodation cancellation fee. For bookings of 7 days or longer, a one week’s cancellation fee will apply. Please note that no refund will be given in the event of a guest’s non arrival on the specified date.
Promotional Cancellation Policy
For all Advance Purchase, Hot Deals, Stay 2 & Save, Stay 3 & Save, 7nights min and any other bookings that state: ‘Advance Purchase Policy Applies’, must be fully pre-paid at the time of booking and are not subject to cancellation or amendments. Any cancellations made will not be refunded and any amendments will be subject to additional fees. In the result of exceptional circumstances such as cancelled flights, injury that prevents travel or death, Waldorf may refund reservations or offer credit on supply of proof of circumstance. Waldorf Apartments must operate within the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act.
Strictly NO pets allowed. Assistance dogs, such as guide dogs, hearing dogs, and dogs for those who are disabled, are permitted.
Guests must be a minimum of 18 years of age or be staying with a parent or legal guardian unless prior arrangements have been made.
Guaranteed check-in time is 3pm. No apartment is guaranteed availabke until that time. If arriving prior to this time we are happy to hold your bags for you until your apartment is available. If you require an apartment prior to this time, you will need to reserve it from the previous day.
Check-out time is 10am, and apartments must be fully vacated by this time. If a guest wishes to extend their stay, they must confirm availability the day prior, and may be required to move rooms. Any personal belongings left within an apartment after check-out time, will be removed and stored. Late check-outs may be available at an additional charge, only when availability allows. Please contact Front Desk prior to check-out to confirm a possible late check-out.
Code of conduct
In the interests of all guests in the hotel, Waldorf Apartments ask that you remain conscious of other guests trying to rest. After 10pm we ask that no more than two extra guests are inside rooms and that noise is kept to a minimum.
While full care is taken in the handling and storage of luggage, any luggage stored is done so at the risk of owners. Waldorf Apartments accept no responsibility for any damage caused to luggage in storage.
Personal Effects left in apartments are held ‘on-site’ for a period of 60 days and if not claimed or returned within this period, the effects are disposed of. While full care is taken in the handling of Personal Effects, Waldorf Apartments accept no responsibility for any damage caused in transit. If you have left behind any Personal Effects, please contact the property to confirm items, before we can ship them back to you (courier charges apply).
Your details are securely stored for the purposes of internal guest profiling and will never be shared with any 3rd parties, for a profit or otherwise. If we ask you for your email address it is for the purpose of sending you a confirmation of your booking, and to send you a letter confirming your check-out with a guest survey, and by accepting our terms and conditions you agree to receive promotional emails from time to time, if you wish to stay off this list, please select 'do not email' from our sign-in sheet.
Waldorf accepts no responsibility for any personal belongings.
Smoking is not permitted inside any part of Waldorf Apartment building. Smoking is permitted on apartment balconies and outside of apartments in specified locations. Any guest who smokes inside apartments are liable for fumigation costs and any costs of fire service call outs. Any guest caught tampering with smoke detectors or sprinklers will be evicted immediately without refund and charged any callout costs by the fire services.
All guests are required to complete the registration documentation on arrival, agreeing to the above terms and conditions. For properties that are un-manned at the time of arrival, the Sign-in documentation attached to the reservation confirmation must be signed by the guest and placed into the apartment hotels 'drop box'. Guests should advise of late arrivals and instruction on how to retrieve the room key will be issued by Waldorf Central Reservations. Entrance into reserved apartment will act as acceptance to the above terms and conditions stated. A copy of these Terms and Conditions will be available in late arrival instructions included in key safe.
- Our extended stay weekly rates have to be pre-booked and committed to in advance.
- Extensions to original extended stay bookings are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
- A cleaning fee may apply depending on the length of stay.
- All apartments receive a full service once per week unless otherwise specified.
- Linen/towel change, car parking, telephone and high-speed internet connection are all available subject to additional fee unless otherwise specified.
- All extended stay bookings are to be paid in advance for up to 1-2 weeks.
- All extended stay rates are required to be for consecutive days.
